QUANTUM INAUGURATES ADVANCED ROBOTIC CONTROL LABBack
Quantum Global Campus, Roorkee is exerting its own individuality to enlighten the quality of education. It has set an excellent example in short span of time for other academic institutions in the region in providing lucrative career opportunities along with excellent pedagogical standards and conducting consistent highly informative intellectual discourses, successful conferences and innovative workshops by renowned technologists and industrialists from all over the globe for its future Technocrats and Budding Managers.
In continuation to that, another endeavor to meet out the benchmark of world-class education, Quantum Global Campus has recently signed an MOU with APS Gmbh, European center for Mechatronics in Germany. Under this lab the students at Quantum shall get extensive training on cutting edge Robotic Software under German trainers and supervisors. This would give them a rare opportunity to access from India the industrial robots located in Germany in companies like Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, etc. and apply their work practically.
Quantum had sent two of its faculties, Assistant Professors namely Anees Ahmed and Manish Mittal to Germany on a Special Training with a purpose to set up an Advanced Remote lab on automation and industrial Robotics at Quantum. The faculties spend 15 days at the advanced center in Germany for the training and were trained in latest robotic technologies by German experts.
In continuation to that, a German delegation came down to Quantum on 22nd August to Inaugurate the Advanced Robotic Control Lab for industrial Applications. The lab was inaugurated in the benign presence of The Special Guests, Founder / CEO, Indo Euro Synchronization, Mr. Vangapandu Venkatanagaraju, Managing Director, APS Gmbh-European Centre for Mechatronics, Dr. Daniel Hahn, Professor, Aachen University, Germany, Dr. Gunther Starke, Dr. Rajendra Dobhal, DG, UCOST-Dehradun, The Chairman of Quantum, Shri Ajay Goyal Ji, The Secretary, Mr. Shobhit Goyal, The Director General, Dr. S.C Handa, The Director of QST, Dr. Gulshan Chauhan, The Director of QSB, Prof, Rohit Kushwaha and other Dignitaries by lighting the lamp at the idol of the Goddess Saraswati.
On the arrival of the Special Guests, Board of Management and Dignitaries, the students of the campus greeted them enthusiastically at the threshold of the Shyam Ji Auditorium and gave a huge round of applause, accompanied by a hearty welcome with flowers.
